(Received December 27, at 9.15 a.m.) It is reported that Signor Perosi, tho composer of tho oratorios ‘The Nativity,’ ‘Tiie Resurrection of Christ,’ and other masterpieces, has been declared to bo insane. Measures havo been taken to_ prevent him from destroying his unpublished musical numbers, which he threatened to burn, under the belief that the publishers intended altering them.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
