BOWLING TOURNAMENT
It is some years now_ since a bowling (ournainent was held- in Dunedin at Christmas time, and this year an experiment is being made in the way of a rinks tournament pure and simple. The number of teams entered is thirty-six—a fair entry, comprising some combinations of great strength, and the games towards the finish should be very interesting. Three excellent greens are being used—Roslyn, Caversham, and North-east Valley—and the weather to-day is ideal. The umpires appointed are;—At North-east Valley, Mr A. M'Kenzie; at Caversham, Mr F. J. Lough; at Roslyn, Mr A. M'Dougall. One game was played this morning, and two others are to 'bo decided this afternoon. Results so far ROSLYN GREEN. SECTION A. —First Round. — St. Clair (T. C.
