Under the management of Mass E. Dancan and Fireman Geo. Boss another vory successful entertainment was given in tho social hall at the Central Firo Station in Cumberland 6trect last evening. These entertainments were promoted by Mrs A. Robinson and Miss Duncan, for the purpose of providing (recreation for the firemen forming tho City Brigade, The first entertainment was held over four months ago, and each weekly performance has been greatly appreciated not only by the men, but by their relatives and friends as -well. The performance last evening was one of the brightest and most successful of tho series. No less than thirty-two performers contributed to a really excellent programme. Tlie juveniles were prominent, and their efforts well rewarded with applause. A feature wae the exhibition of national dancing by a bevy of boys and girls, all of whom are well known on the concert platform. The accompaniments were played by Miss J. Eraser, Mrs G. MacDonald, and Mr T. Duncan; while the bagpipe music was supplied by Fireman Geo. Koss. Tho final performance for the season will take place next Wednesday evening, It is the intention of the promoters to resume these entertainments about February. Wonderful Wife: "What are you thinking of, dear?"
