Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under : FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8. For Australian States via Melbourne (per Trelyon from Dunedin), at 2 p.m. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji (per Navua from Auckland), per north express, at 7 a.m. Late-fee letters at mad van at 8 a.m. Owing to the unsettled state of shipping, flie advertised times for dosing mails are liable to alteration.
