MR MASLIN'S RECORD
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Mr W. S. Maslin claims from every platform that he is and always has been a great supporter of tire Liberal Administration and of the Liberal measures brought down by the late Eidiard John •Seddon and Sir John M'Kenzio. 'iherc are two questions to which. I would like Mr Muslim to give a definite and straightout reply: 1. In the year 4902, ditt he stand as an Independent Oppositionist to Mr Flatman, the Liberal nominee for tile Geraldine seat? 2. In _ 1905, did in straight-out opposition to Sir William Steward, the Liberal nominee for the Waitaki seat? These questions have been put to Mr Muslin on more than one occasion at his public meetings, but ho is a past master in the art of evasion, and avoids answering these questions by telling Iris audience at length why he stood as a Liberal in 1919. Had _Mr Maslin answered these questions in a. straightforward manner instead of spending most of his time misrepresenting Mr Stabham’fi attitude on the licensing question, I would nob halve been forced to put my questions through the Press.—l am, etc., Inquisitivk. November 30.
