TO IHS KDITOa. Sir, —No doubt many electors of Dunedin . Central have been wondering who and what Mr Maslin is, and tiro letter from “Angus” in this evening’s issue of the 1 Stare throws a certain amount of enlightenment on the political aspirations of this “ many change ” artist. This record and the prominent part taken by the candidate in the agitation for the formation of the South Otago Hospital Board should be enough to convince ©lectors of his unsuitability as a and my reason for writing to you, sir, is to warn electors of Dunedin Central of the importance of considering whether it is worth while supporting a candidate whose past record shows that he is not wanted (and he has, if a worse chance of election this time) or whether it is not better to concentrate their efforts on a straight-out contest between their present representative (Mr Statiham) and the official Labor candidate,—l am, etc., BuTxmsia-
