CHEISTCHUECH. November 9. Mr Justice Adams to-day sentenced the following prisonersW. A. D. A. Duncan, an assisted immigrant, who has only been five months in the country, breaking, entering, and theft, one year's bard labor; E. P. Genu, br calling, entering, and theft while on probation, three years’ reformative treatment; Cyril H. Hobbs, thefts from his employer and father, three years’ probation; Treava Gardiner, theft of £5, three years’ probation; Edward Francis Nicholls, false ;at Eangiora, two years’ hard labor; Frank Moreton, indecent assault on a male, one year’s hard .labor.
