BURT—PLBIM Ell. a very quiet wedding was celebrated last flatnrday morning at the residence of Mr William 0. Burt, Queen street, when Miss Leah Burt, second daughter, was married to Mr John Roden Plimmer, eldest son of tho la to Roden Plimmer and Mrs Plimmer, Khandalla-h, Wellington. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful frock of lemon crepe de chine with overdress of flannel lace, and, silver grey hat relieved with lemon. Her bouquet was of Marcchal Xiel roses and forget-me-nots. Miss Marjorie Burt acted as bridesmaid, and her pretty frock of heliotrope organdi and lemon hat were much admired. She can led an Early Victorian bouquet of violets and primulas. Miss Joy Burt looked very sweet as a little liower girl, and wore a pretty white ergandi frock with pa-lo blue and pink '"reath, and tho same coloring in her posy. Mr inglis Miller acted ns best man. The bride's mother wore a handsome frock of black chameuso draped with riro lace, and black hat. Miss Valmai Burt was in navy taffeta- relieved with lemon, and navy crinoline hat with lemon ’vreath.
