A message from Sydney reports that the wen,thcr is lino for the fourth, (concluding)’ day’s racing at Randwick. BULLDOG SHOW. NEW ZEALANDER PLACED. SYDNEY, October 7. (Received October 7, at 12.11 p.m.) At the bulldog championship show T. Simpson’s Bruce, a New Zealander, secured third place in tho open dog class. Information has received from England that Mr J. B. Reid* has purchased a small stud farm at Newmarket, where he intends to breed for English yearlingssales. Elderslie is to be kept going, but it is unlikely that Mr Reid will spend much time in tho dominion. Ho is now on liis way here, however, on a short visit,—Christchurch correspondent.
