GRATIFYING RESULTS,

MELBOURNE, October 7. (Received October 7, at 9 a.m.) In the House of Representatives Mr Massey Greene, Minister of Defence, m replying to criticisms of the Govern* moni’s policy in fostering and developing trade between Australia and the Pacino Islands, said that the copra trade was eight times greater than it was in 1913.
