TO COMBAT PRICE-CUTTING. [Special to the ‘ Star.’] CHRISTCHURCH, August 19. A great deal of price-cutting lias been going on among Christchurch grocery firms _ lately, and, with a view to stopping the warfare, the heads of firms have held a meeting at which steps were taken to revive the association previously existing among grocers. As a result the public will probably have to face increases in the prices of several necessaries. '
