RISE AND SHINE OPERATIONS. Tho Rise and Shins dredge worked steadily last week, .and got fairly tight wash over the full width of the cut, the better prospects being got in the deep ground on the cast side. On the other side they were patchy. A good many wash stones were met with, and bottom of soft red and white clay was got at an average depth similar to that of the previous week. A stoppage was made at the beginning of the present week for boiler cleaning.
