A special mission of seven days wax, commenced on Sunday last in tho_ St. Kilda Methodist Church, the Revs. Clarence Eaton and T- Roseveare (of Cambridge) being the preachers for the day. The congregations, singing, and exercise® were most encouraging, and the addresses inspiring. Miss Wheeler was the soloist. On Monday night the Rev. C. Last evening the raissionor’s subject was ‘A Burning Question and How Christ Dealt With It.’ Hie utterances were thoughtful, logical, and full of appeal. Miss Macalister sang ‘ Hold Thou My Hand’ with good effect. The special services will be continued every night this week, the Rev. C. Eaton being the preacher.
