The remarkable demand from hospitals and public he*alth authorities for the company's preparations, Virol and Virolas, had doubtless been largely influenced by the result of the recent important independent investigations into the question of vitamines in Virol. The net profit, including the amount brought forward, was £66,771 14s lid, as against £55,998 10s lid hist year. The directors recommended the payment of a dividend at the rate of 17£ per cent, on the ordinary shares, as against 15 per cent, last year, the placing of £IO,OOO to reserve', jpid the carrying forward, subject to corporations profits tax, of £53,259 15s lid.
