BULL SAVED BY AN ACCIDENT

A curious accident occurred during a bullfight in a village near Madrid recently. At the moment when the second bull was about to receive the death thrust a barrier on which the spectators wore leaning gave way, and the public fell on top of the matador and the bull. A scene _of indescribable confusion followed, during which the bull was fortunately scared by the screaming of numerous women and children who had tumbled in the arena. The hull was taken out and the bullfight was suspended, while some thirty persons had their injuries dressed.
