‘FACING THE MUSIC’
The Dunedin Comedy Club has in rehearsal the above comedy. Some years ago Mr Frank Thornton, who created the character of John Smith with such success, gave Mr De Spopg the right to produce the comedy in New Zealand under certain conditions. The funds in this instance are to go to re-establish the Dunedin Operatic Society. 1 Facing the Music,’ in capable hands, produces roars of laughter from rise to fall of the curtain. Like the plays previously selected by the club, it is clean and cleverly constructed, and its production in His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday, August 23, and following nights should draw the business.
