Cable. ANDERSON BAY TENNIS CLUB. The eighteenth annual meeting of the Anderson Bay Lawn Tennis Club was held in the pavilion on Tuesday. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, which showed! a. credit balance of £SO ISs (an increase of £23 10s over the previous season), the Chairman (Mr J. A. Paterson) congratulated the committee and the club on the success of the past season. Conditions augured well for the coming season, he said, and no doubt it would be every bit as successful as the previous one. Office-hearers were elected as follow: President, Mr F. J. Campbell; vice-presi-dents—Messrs C. W. Gibson, E. F. Duthie, K. Hay, A. Harris, T. Somerville, A. LeeSmith ; bon. secretary, Mr A. E. M'Adam (re-elected); auditor, Mr W. E. C. Reid; club captain, Mr J. M‘Lachlan. It was decided to hold the official opening on September 16.
