A BELGIAN’S CLAIM
GENEVA, August 10. (Received August 11, at noon.) The balloon Belgica, piloted by a Belgian, Ernest De Mnyter, which, competed m tho Gordon Bennett race, and which previously was believed to be lost, landed n«ar a Rumanian village after crossing tho Carpathians. De- Muyler states that ho traveller! the greatest distance (1,300 kilometres); consequently he is the winner. All the nineteen competitors have landed. —A, and X.Z. Cable.
