CAPTURE OF CORK.
REBELS DESTROY BUILDINGS

Prior to the evacuation of Cork, the Irregulars blew up the military barracks, the Victoria Hotel, the newspaper offices, and other buildings. An official bulletin, describing the Cork success, points out that the Irregulars wore iaken on all sides. The troops, under the command of Major-general Dilton, landed in small boats from vessels which came almost ashore. The Nationals, notwitiistanding the rebel fire, quickly reached positions on shore, where they replied to the shooting. A landing was effected at Yeughal.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
