QUEENSLAND’S FINANCES.
BRISBANE, August 11. (Received August 11, at 1.22 p.m.)
In the Assembly Mr Theodore delivered the Financial .Statement, He said that the estimated deficit for 1921-22 had decreased from £465,000 to £183,500. He estimated the revenue for the current year' at £12,202,000, which was £IOB,OOO less than in the previous year. The total estimated expenditure was £12.779,540, and the estimated deficit £577,540.
