The Admiralty announces that the Raleigh is badly” aground a quarter of a mile west of Point Amour (Labrador), and is now in a dangerous position. The crew landed, and arc being transported to Halifax. It is feared that four men lost their lives.—A. and N.Z. Cable. OTTAWA, August 9.
Navy Department reports indicate that six members of the Raleigh s crew were lost, tho rest having been saved, including Admiral Packcnham. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
