Oats. —There is no improvement, in the market. Values are unchanged. Wo quote: A Gartens, to 2s sd; B Cartons, 2s 2d to 2s sd; under grade, from Is 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes.—The market is firm, and there is a good demand for prime tables at £6 per ton (sacks in). There is also some demand for seed lines. * Chaff.—The market is unchanged. There is a fair demand for prime lines, but all others are harder to quit. _Wo quote: Prime oaten sheaf, to £4 Iss; good to best feed, £4 5s to £4 10s; inferior, from £2 10s'per ton (sacks extra). BUTTER AND CHEESE. The Now* Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, Limited, has received the following cablegram from its London house, under date 28th ultimo. New Zealand butter: 200?. to 206 s per ewt; market weak. Cheese: 83s to 90s per cwt ■ market steady. SALES ON ’CHANGE: THIS DAY.
