Senator M’Lcan, a _ member of tho Senate’s Finance Committee, declares that the Republican leaders aro determined to pass tho Fordnoy-M’Cumber Tariff Bill before any adjournment is taken, no matter what delays there may be. Ho blames the Democrats for the slow progress of tho Bill through the Senate, and declares tliat tho delay is retarding a return to prosperity.
