SYDNEY, July 51,
The flood waters aro still pouring into Wagga Wagga. Business houses in the main business centre are carrying up to 9ft of water. Sandbags arc being used in a futile endeavor lo keep tho water out. The Murrumbidgee Inver has now risen 30ft, and there -are indications that a tremendous body of water has yet to come down.
The township of North Wagga is entirely cut off, and the surrounding country is submerged, causing heavy losses of stock and crops. Tho situation is disastrous, and threatens to rival in magnitude tho big flood of 1900.
