TEMPORARY SETTLEMENT. An agreement was arrived at between the Union Steam Ship Company and the Seamen’s Union at Wellington yesterday regarding tho engine room complement of the Paloona, The Seamen’s Union asked that the clause which provided, against any reduction being made in the stokehold manning he inserted in the ship’s articles.
