UNSUCCESSFUL APPEAL

The Privy Council dismissed the appeal of the Grand Trunk Railway Company (Canada) against the arbitration award, which declared that the first, second, and third preference and ordinary stock, nominally worth £37,000,000, were valueless.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
