Army Headquarters has announced that an American soldier, Sergeant Andrew Pcnland, gave ten ounces of his blood for a. transfusion operation in an attempt to save Admiral Duraaresq’s life. Sergeant Rowland has been thanked by tho British Consul-General.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
