Woods' Great Peppermint Cure for Coughs and Colds never fails.—[Advb.J It has been reported that there is some doubt in the public mind ns to -what class of children is admitted to tho Childrens Rest Horne at Moniington, tho .annual report of which institution was published in our issue of Satuiday last. Tho manager of the home (Mr S. Dnnkley) gives particulars of two typical cases which have received attention. The first case was brought amdor tho notice of those in charge of the home by tho Salvation Array, which had previously assisted tho family concerned by providing clothing. Tho father of a family of sis children, ranging in age. from thirteen months to eight years, had earned for the last twelve months an average wage of only ±l2 3s per week, and another fthild was expected. Those in charge of the home boarded tho baby out in a private licensed home, admitted the next three children to their own institution free of charge, and aria nged for the two oldest children to stay with the father, who was assisted by a neighbor. The second case was one concerning a bather who had been taken to a sanatorium. Tho family consisted of four children, and tho mother was worn out with going out working by tho day. The Masonic Lodge sent the mother away with the baby for a three months’ holiday; tho grandmother took the girl, and tho two boys ware admitted to tho home free of charge. In other cases the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society takes the mothers to the Rest Home at Warrington, while the children aro admitted to tho home at Morninglon for a small charge, and, if necessary, free.
