Irish rebels are concentrating in strength under Mr Dc Valera’s personal command between Fennoy (Cork) and Waterford. They are apparently preparing for battle.— A. and N.Z. Cable.

One hundred and live political prisoners escaped to-day from Dundalk Gaol through a hole which 'was made in the wall by the explosion of a mine.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
MR DUFFY’S RESIGNATION. LONDON, July 26. (Received July 28, at 10.5 a.rn.) Tho Dublin correspondent of ‘The Times’ states (bat little importance is attached to Mr Gavan Duffy’« resignation from tho Freo State Ministry. He will probably take up the position of an Independent member, and will not embarrass the Government. —‘Times.’
