After animated discussion at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union to-day and l after tho hearing of a statement by the chairman of tho Meat Control Board, the following resolution was adopted:—“ That this conference desires to express appreciation of the work already done by the Meat Control Board, and reaffirms the resolution passed by the Producers’ Conference—namely, that the pool be made compulsory as soon as possible.”
