' MEETING AT NEW YEAR. [Special to the ‘Stae.’] CLYDE, July 26. The Central Trotting Club held its annual meeting at Alexandra yesterday, when the baKaoe-sheet disclosed that the last trotting meeting had been run at a profit of about £4O. If was decided to hold a meeting; as usual, at the New Year, and the dub is hopeful,of getting its permit. This district is a feeder for Forbury, and every encouragement should be given to foster the local dub’s interest*.
