TRAINING COLLEGES AT PLAY
Two ladies’ basket ball teams and the Rugby team of the Christchurch Training College will arrive in - Dunedin to-night. To-morrow, at 9 a.m., two basket ball matches will be played against teams from the Dunedin,Training College on the Oval. In the afternoon a Rugby match, commencing l at 2 o’clock, will be played on Tahuna Park between the and the Dunedin Training College team. The local college team includes a number of players who play in the.’Varsity, first and second grade teams, and. is expected to make a good showing against the visitors, who, it is reported, hove also a strong side. The visitors, who arc billeted in the homes of Meal college students, teachers, and friends, will be entertained 1 at a dance to-morrow evening.
