FORESTERS
Court Advance, A.0.F., will, celebrate lia first anniversary next week, and tho promoters are very pleased with the past year’s work. Inuring the year several new members were admitted into the ranks of Forestry. Bro. R. Jelferson, one of the original promoters (and secretary during the hardest of times), resigned last month in favor of a younger man suitable for the position, and this resignation cannot pass without reference to his untiring efforts for the juveniles. Ho left the court in a healthy position. A new circular <uid a syllabnu which will encourage new members has just been published. A very well attended meeting was held last Thursday, and two now members were initiated. The secretary pointed out important matters, including the football tournament and member ship competition, which the court hopes to win,; and keen interest is being displayed by the members. The court closed for games, and after a pleasant evening all loft for home with a new spirit of enthusiasm for the coming year. <The fortnightly meeting of Court Excoleior, 6,128, was held on Tuesday last, and the C.E., Bro. G. L. Walmsley, presided over a well-attended and successful gathering. The delegates to tho district meeting and U.F.S. Dispensary reported on the annual meeting of these bodies, and were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.. Alter the business friends were admitted, and P.C.R. Bro, A. J. Morrison rendered some very enjoyable items from Dickens, interspersed with music and song by Bros, Tj. G. Anderson and G. 0. Jackson. Supper concluded another well-spent evening of .this quarter's syllabus.
