conversant with tho killing and handling of New Zealand meat. 'j ho aim of the board was to secure a man with a thorough knowledge of grading and of freezing works management, am! this object had been achieved’ in securing Mr Fraser, as few men had had bis experience.. He bad been through Iho works as a grader, and had attained tho position of manager of tho Tomoatia works when tho latter business was taken over by Messrs Vcsioy Bros, Mr Fraser joined (in: business of Mr William Richmond, for’ many years one of tho largest meat exporters in, Nov/ Zealand, and in his capacity as manager ho had been superintending the buying, grading, costing, shipping, insurance, and the sales of meat on the London market.
