FIGHT WITH AN ALLIGATOR

Harry Summerfielcl, who lives close to Alligator River, was standing on the bank then a largo alligator seized him by the leg anti dragged him into the water. He jammed his thumb into one of the saurian's eyes and forced it to release him ; but it then seized and broke his wrist. He poked his thumb into the other eye, blinding the alligator. He then escaped, badly injured, and was talen to hospital.
