TJMAI’U. May 3. The final wool sale wa* held to-day, a catalogue of 5,000 bales being offered to a fair bench of buyers. The three woollen mills were absent, but the principal firms were represented. Bidding was very spirited, and about 93 per cent, of tho offerings was sold. Merino sold on a par with tiro rates of the last sale ; half-bred allowed from let to 2Jd advance; Uitcc-quarter-bred, id to lid advance; crossbreds, from pay to ‘id advance.
