A sale of work was held in,- the old Presbyterian Church Hall at Anderson Bay yesterday afternoon and evening in aid of the funds of -St. Michael’s Church, Tn the evening the Rov. H. 0. Fenton, gave a limelight display of a number of hie best slides, accompanying tho > views with interesting comment descriptive of tim various scenes and places (represented. The sale was highly successful, and the ladies have inuoh cause for gratification with the result attained, The stall-holders were as follow Work Stall—Mcadamca Bayloy and Fenton,, and Miss M'iAdamj Produce Stall-—Mrs La-wlor and Miss Corner; Sweets Stall—Mass Hargreaves and Miss L. -Maclean; Afternoon Tea Room—Mesdames Luscombe, Cktworthy, and Aitkon; Bran Tub—Mr anti Miss Heathy.
