Mr Samuel Groupers (president of tho American Federation of Labor), aftei a conference with tho Labor leaders at Chicago, issued a statement flaying Bolshevism, and stating that in view of tho developments at Genoa nothing could constitute a more needless or base betrayal of civilisation than American recognition of Bolshevik tyranny.—A. and N.Z.
