Tha police in Glasgow have been hunting tho city recently for illicit whisky stills. Two were captured in a raid, both being complete in every detail, tho “still” and worm being seized and confiscated. With whisky at 12s fid a bottle, aud most of tho price going in excise duty, there is a freat incentive to manufacture the “ unreal laokay,” which realises a profit of about 11s a bottle. For some lime past Glasgow, it is believed, has been “riddled" with illicit stills supplying ite shebeen, and tho police are actively engaged in rooting them out. For Bronchia!
