'lll© programme at Every body’s is headed by, Charles Chaplin’s comedy ‘ The. Kid.’ Another big picture on the tamo programme is ‘The FcuLidclen Thing.’ Betty Compson enacts the principal role in Sir James M. Barrie's ‘ Tbo Littio Minister,’ which heads the list at the Empire at present. The list at the King Edward is headed by ‘The Forbidden Thing,’ featuring James Kirkwood, Marcia Manon, and Helen Eddy. The production was directed by Allan IFwan. ‘The Birth of New Zealand ’ was shown for the last time at the Octagon this afternoon. To-night’s features wil! bo ‘The Puppet Man’ and ‘The Blue Mountain Mystery.’ Supporting ‘The Last Straw’ nt the Grand are a Fox topical gazette, a Sunshine comedy, a .Mutt and Jeff cartoon, and a new episode of the serial. Thomas If. Ince’s fine picture, 1 The Cup of Life,' commenced a run at the Queen’s to-day. Hobart Bosworth is seen to advantage in the principal part.
