SPEEDING—GULLING,

A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Renmera, Auckland, on Tuesday morning, March 7, when Miss Mona Culling, oldest daughter of tho late Mr T. S. (hilling, of Mataura, Victoria avenue, was married to Dr Leslie Alan Spedding, son of Mr and Mrs D. M. Spedding, of Dime din. The church had been beautifully decorated with white and gold llowers and feathery greenery, and over tho chancel was suspended a wedding bell composed of yellow dahlias rnd white asters. Tho bindo, who was given away by Mr J. C. Whitney, wore a beautiful gown of ivory charmcuse embroidered with gold chrysanthemums, while a long narrow gold tissue-lined train depended from tho shoulders, tho bridal veil fastened to the head by a coronet of gold leaves, Sho carried a sheaf of white and gold lilies, a charming complement of a very 'ovcly toilet. The bridesmaids were the Misses Eileen Culling and Spedding, dressed alike in charming frocks of apricot shot taffeta, with tulte hats wreathed with autumn loaves, their bouquets being composed of autumn foliage. Dr Kenneth M’Cormick carried out the duties of best man. After tho ceremony tho guests repaired to tho residence of Mrs J. 0. Whitney, Rosiyn avenue, where tho reception was held. Mrs Culling wore a handsome gewn of black crepe do chine trimmed with deep fringe and touches of royal blue, and a black hat, and carried a bouquet of manvo blooms. Mrs Whitney nigger brown georgette with a hat to _ match Mrs Spedding navy bine embroidered silk frock and a navy hat; Mrs J, 0. Whitney, a royal blue frock with hat to match. Among thoso present were the Hon. C. J. Parr and Mrs Parr, Mr and Mrs Gumming, Mr and Mrs Dove, Dr and Mrs Frank Mackay, Mr and Mrs 0. Whitney, Mr and Mrs J. B. M'Farlanc, ’Mrs fel'yn Upton, Mr and Mrs M'Lennan, Mrs Furness, Mr and Mrs Sin, Mr and Mrs 11. IT. Partridge, Miss Clifford, and Miss M. Hopkins.
