WELLINGTON, March 25.
Tho local Rugby Union, in its annual report, states that £1,952 ,>vas received for gate money from local matches, which, with reccipte from big matches, such ns New South Wales v. Wellington £725, Africans y, Wellington £453, andi Africans v. New Zealand £555, made the total receipts £6.544. Improvements to Athletic Park cost £2,717, and others still in handwill cost a further £2,639.
