PLUNKETT'S RECAPTURE
SERIOUS CHARGES PEMIHG.
Arthur Dominic Plunkett, who escaped, from Dunedin Prison iii company with Allan Aitchcson on November 6 of last year, and who was recaptured at Cliatto fcreek on Wednesday, appeared in the City Police Court this morning to answer a charge that ho was an incorrigible rogue, in that ho escaped from legal custody before the expiration of the term for which he was committed.
Accused pleaded guilty. Chief-detective Bishop applied for a remand for a week. There wore, lie said, a number of other charges of a more serious nature pending against accused. The Magistrate (Mr H. W. Bundle) remanded accused accordingly.
