The Select Committee 1 on the telephone service recommends tho separation of the Telegraph and Telephone Departments from" tho Mails Department; also the immediate reduction of 10 per cent, in telephone subscribers’ accounts, a residential telephone to be lower than a commercial telephone, with a rebate to the largo commercial users. —A. and N.Z.
