SIDEREAL PHENOMENON
One of the competitors in the 220 yards race at a recent sports meeting was bumped heavily ami knocked over. He states that as he was rising again he distinctly saw two stars collide and smash to atoms, the fragments forming themselves before his astonished care into the letters “0.A.C.” He regards this as an indication that if he doesn’t fall again he may win the 220 yards at the Otago Athletic Championships at the Caledonian on Saturday. Come and-see if he’s right.— [Adivt.]
