LONDON, March 20. Tho foreign exchange rates are as follow compared with those last cabled :
THE WHEAT MARKET. LONDON, March 20. Tho wheal cargo market is firm. Sellers aro asking 6d advance owing to the firmness in America and Argentina, but buyers are not responsive. Cargo, ex Diadem, 58s ; parcels, ex Borda, 55s &d.— A, and N.Z. Cable, WOOL MARKET. LONDON, March 20. At the wool sales there was an average selection. There was a -good homo, French, and German demand at full prices. Merinos and cross-breds are now at parity —the highest point reached since January, Medium slipes were sto 7j per cent, above tho January level. “Mesopotamia,” 3&ld and 3od. Bradford top-makers are holding for firm prices, asking 51d for 54’s.—A. and N.Z. Cable. '
