PHOTO-PLAYS
Tho Otagon Theatre presents an entertaining programme at present. Two feature films aro shown, ‘ False Kisses ’ and 'The Channings.’ rue latter production is from Mrs Henry Wood’s pbpular novel. ‘Footlights,’ with Elsie Ferguson in the leading role, heads an attractive programme at the Empire Theatre. Another good offering is ‘ Now or Never,’ featuring Harold Lloyd.
‘ Wedding Bells,’ in which Constance Talmndge plays a leading part, is on the current programme at the Queen’s Theatre. A long list of supporting items includes a comedy and two gazettes. ‘The Gentleman Bushranger,’ Beaumont Smith’s latest production, continues to attract patrons to Everybody’s Theatre. An episode of a serial and other supplementary pictures aro also shown. The programme for to-night's entertainment at the King Edward Theatre has as its chief attraction a story of mystery, intrigue, romance, and adventure, entitled ‘The Romance Promoters.’
A good assortment of pictures provides excellent entertainment at the Grand Theatre. Shirley Mason appears in ‘ Q.ucenie,’ and Comvay Teafle is featured in ‘ The Fighter.’ The pregramme now being .screened at the Plaza Theatre is one that is sure to have the approval of patrons. Besides two featured dramas, an International News and serial are shown.
