No business wis booked on 'Change this morning, but there was a reported saleof Bank of New Zealands at 48s 3d, and. they were wanted on 'Change at 48s, but without attracting a seller. Union Banks have firmed slightly to buyers at £ll 17s and sellers at £ll i9s. Buyers of Government War Bonds continue to offer £9O 10s for 1938 and 1939 issues and £9O 5s for the Inscribed, and sellers remain at £9l. Mining stocks are lifeless.
