(Bay of Islands) last Friday afternoon for Sydney to complete loading in Australia for London. To continue Homeward loading the Port Bowen arrived at Lyttolton to-day from Port Chalmers. She is expected at Wellington on March 27 from Gisbome, and is to sail on March 30 for London. The Pakeha is duo at Wellington on April 5 from Newcastle via New Prymouth and Wanganui to load for Home. The vessel is expected to leave Wellington about April 11 for London via Capo Horn

Tho Wahino arrived at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers connected with the express for the south. DORSET FROM LIVERPOOL. The Federal, steamer Dorset is duo at Auckland about Friday next from Liver-, pool. She will discharge part cargo at' Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dimedin. The vessel will afterwards load as follows :—At Port Chalmers, April 13; at Bluff, April 17; at Wellington, April 24. The Dorset is scheduled to leave Wellington on April 27 for London via Panama. HUNTINGDON LEAVES LONDON. Cable news has been received by tho New Zealand Shipping' Company that the steamer Huntingdon left London on Maxell 16, cargo laden, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers via Colon and Panama. Tho vessel is duo at Weilington about May 5.

AUSTRALIAN-ORIENTAL LINE.

Mesrs Neill and Co. advise that the steamer Taivuan met with an accident through striking Nares Rock, off Bo wen (Queensland) during the night of March 1. She put into Bowen for temporary repairs, and was expected to leave there on March 8 for Sydney, where she will undergo her annual overhaul. The Taiyuan should be despatched from Sydney about the middle of April for Hongkong. Tho waterfront strike at Hongkong is still delaying tho steamer Cbangsha's departure from that port, but according to cable advice she is expected to sail before tho end of this month for Sydney with a North. China crow.
