ADRIFT IN A BALLOON
Presa Association— By Telegraph—Copyright, PARIS, March 18. An observation balloon broke its moorings at tho Angicre aviation camp, carry, ing away three men who were clinging to tho ropes. Ono dropped when a few feet above the ground, and escaped uninjured. Another dropped' 90ft and succumbed to terrible injuries. The balloon carried tho third man away, travelling; at tho rate of 59 miles an hour, and reached a height of 6,000 ft. After several hours it was blown back towards Angiors. The man dropped into a tree'while the, balloon was descending, and was picked up slightly bruised.—A. and N.Z. Gable.
